Initial Exploration Meeting

Compatibility Project Assessment (CPA). Explore the KENKOR Custom Homes journey and custom home building process. Get to know each other, discuss your overall project needs/wants/desires, discuss the KENKOR difference and process, talk through general pricing based on stated project scope and determine if we are a good fit for each other.

Pre-Contract Services Agreement

We handle all architectural, estimating and site analysis services utilizing a Pre-Contract Services Agreement.

This agreement does not bind you to building with us, rather, it defines the services to be provided as well as the cost of those services.

Deposit of $10,000

Upon execution, our Sales Manager will schedule an initial appointment with the Residential Plan Designer/Architect and order any other elected services.

Pre-Plan Development

With full involvement and feedback from KENKOR Custom Homes, you will work with the Residential Plan Designer/Architect to develop initial plan layout, front elevation and roof design which yields the Bid Set of plans. It is very normal for this to take multiple revisions to complete. Upon your approval of the bid set of plans, KENKOR will prepare Preliminary Pricing and schedule a meeting to review.

High-Low Estimate

Visit with the lender to discuss finance options or provide proof of Funds From the lender or personal account.

We will discuss any changes that you would like to make as well as the next steps related to executing a Construction Agreement.

Preliminary Home Plans

Hold intake meetings with architect/house plan designer

Preview interior and exterior selections with interior designer

Preliminary plans completed and ready for initial cost estimate

Initial cost estimates completed

Initial Contract Presented & Signed

Initial house plans, construction specifications and allowances signed

Initial contract signed

Deposit 10 percent of initial contract price

Final house plan creation process underway
